Elphie Quinn

Brighton born but raised in the south of France, and having drawn since she was little, the idea of tattooing for a living was set in stone as a teenager for Elphie. To pursue this, she studied illustration at Cambridge School of art, to find confidence in her work and fine tune her taste in imagery. She was shown how to handpoke in her second year of university and although it was never the plan to continue this method professionally, she was completely taken with the meditative, gentle, and almost primal nature of handpoking.

After graduating, she moved to Brighton to get a foot in the door of professional tattooing. 

Now working with the beautiful Brighton Tattoo Collective, Elphie works hard to make every customer feel at home and listened to. She believes that tattooing is a collaboration between artist and client, and this ancient craft should be cherished and honoured with every individual who wishes to be marked by her.
