FAQs

  • You can fill out our general booking form: here. As we are a collective, all our artists coordinate their own calendars and sessions, so depending on which artist you would like to book with we may redirect you to their preferred method of communication!

You can also get in touch with the artist you’d like to book with via their email or Instagram. You can find their contact details in their bio’s on our Team Page

Once you have provided us with all the relevant design information, you will be given a quote and a rough estimate of how long your appointment will be. If you choose to continue with the booking, you will be asked for a non-refundable deposit. This will be reflective of, and deductible from, the total cost of the finished tattoo. Your deposit can be made via bank transfer or paypal.

(Cash is also accepted when paid in person in the studio)

Once your deposit is received, we will then liaise regarding both of our availability and find you a date and time for your appointment. Once we have agreed on a suitable date, you will receive another email to confirm your booking information.

  • Communication is key, please try to be as clear and concise as possible with the information you provide your artist. Without ALL of the relevant information we can’t give you an accurate quote or how to budget for time.

In general when sending an inquiry, please give us a description of the tattoo you’re wanting, how large you’d like it to be (length and width in cm), the placement on your body, the style (black and grey or colour, shaded or just linework), and any reference images you have.

Please be aware that artists usually have multiple clients in a day and need to know timings in order to avoid overlapping appointments and unnecessary costs, so as accurate as you can be when inquiring saves everyone time and energy.

  • PLEASE NOTE IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT THE DEPOSIT WILL BE LOST. Our deposits are non-refundable, however they can be transferred to a new appointment if you need to rearrange. If you are wanting to re-book, we will require at least 1 weeks notice or the deposit will be lost. (This allows us to rebook your cancelled slot with another client & prevent a loss of earnings for us).

  • If you're booked in for a tattoo at the studio, unless you have specific medical/care requirements which means bringing one extra person is essential (and you have spoken to your artist in advance about this), please come alone.

Only the person with the appointment will be allowed to enter beyond reception, friends will be asked to leave.

Other than having limited space, having too many people in the studio is incredibly distracting for the artists working and just does not work with the day to day flow of the studio.

    Thank you for understanding!

  • Please make sure that you have eaten a proper meal before your appointment. It is vital that your body has enough energy to help you through your sitting. Also bringing snacks & drinks for energy boosts throughout is advised.

Try to get a decent nights sleep beforehand and please NO ALCOHOL 24 hours before your tattoo booking. Alcohol thins your blood which will make your session considerably more painful, make the healing process more difficult, and there’s a larger chance of your tattoo falling out (as your body pushes out more ink when your blood is thinned).

It is fine to use painkillers just before/during your appointment to help ease the experience (please follow correct dosage instructions & be safe). Ibuprofen is recommended as it is also an anti inflammatory.

Ensure you have a form of ID with you, a passport or drivers licence will do.

  • In terms of clothing on the day whatever feels most comfortable for you!

We recommend loose or stretchy clothing just so that we can move it around if need be, and so it’s not too tight when worn over your new tattoo. Ideally wear something comfy that you don’t mind getting a little bit dirty. Using ink means there can be a chance of staining, though of course your artist will do their best to avoid it.

For tattoos on the chest (or other exposed areas) you're welcome to wear pasties, we can use cover up cloths/tape, and we also have separate rooms/privacy options so you can feel completely comfortable during your appointment.

Please be aware and mindful of the weather! If it’s chilly bring some items to keep warm and vice versa in hot weather bring clothing that will keep you comfortable.

  • Allowing the use of numbing cream is up to the discretion of the artist. Some artists refuse to tattoo numbed skin and others are fine with it. So please get in touch with your artist first and check with them before your tattoo appointment.

If your artist agrees to the use of numbing cream, we can recommend some to you, but you will have to buy and apply it yourself. For numbing cream we recommend Dr Numb or TKTX. We advise you to put it on an hour before getting tattooed - no longer. You will need to wrap it in cling film and make sure it's as air tight as possible for it to work as efffectively- so make sure to secure around the edges with bandage/paper tape.

It is absolutely ESSENTIAL to do a spot check on a small part of your skin in advance, to ensure you don’t have any allergic reactions to the cream before applying to a larger part of your skin.

  • You will be paying your artist directly either via bank transfer, cash, or PayPal (all dependant on your arrangement with your artist). Unfortunately the studio does not have a card machine on site.
