Lou studied Animal Behaviour, Care and Sciences at Bicton collage, then later on moved away from Devon and the animal care profession to pursue her passion for art. Lou’s work continues to be heavily influenced by her love of the natural world.
While living in London, Lou continued honing her craft and was cast in E4’s tattoo tv show “Tattoo Fixers” which highlights her skill in transforming old and unloved tattoos. Now based in East Sussex, Louisa runs her own studio in the heart of the vibrant city of Brighton. Drawn there by the city’s bohemian atmosphere and arts culture, Lou continues to improve her artwork while running our beloved studio, supporting a team of 8 resident artists and regular guests artists. Art has been a consistent passion throughout Lou's life: her favoured pieces are inspired by natural history, wildlife, botany & travel.
